Job summary

RTX is seeking a Data Engineer to design semantic data models, ontologies, and knowledge graphs onsite in Richardson, TX. You will bridge raw operational data with AI-ready intelligence, collaborating with data engineers and domain experts to formalize business concepts and rules.

You will develop taxonomies and metadata schemas, integrate ontology layers with data platforms and AI/ML pipelines, and help enforce governance across the enterprise. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with OWL, RDF, SPARQL and related standards.
• Experience with ontology development tools and graph DBs.
• Proven ability to model complex business domains and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design ontologies and knowledge graphs to connect raw data with AI-ready insights.
• Collaborate with domain experts and data teams to formalize concepts and rules.
• Develop taxonomies and semantic metadata across domains.
• Integrate ontologies with data platforms, AI/ML pipelines and analytics tools.
