Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Graph Data Engineer to design, build, and scale the Enterprise Semantic Map—an ontology-grounded metadata graph. You will architect programmatic data and API integrations and lead automation-first ingestion across legacy, cloud, and distributed environments.

Working with graph, data, and engineering teams, you will ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and dynamically composable for analysts and AI agents. A TS SCI clearance and strong systems-thinking are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of professional experience (or equivalent).
• Active TS SCI clearance is required.
• Hands-on data engineering experience with production pipelines, data catalogs, and metadata management.
• Experience with ontology/semantic standards (RDF/OWL/SHACL) and governance.
• Ability to architect enterprise graph structures and enable agentic AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated pipelines to discover enterprise data assets and ingest technical metadata.
• Define lineage, provenance, and domain ontologies aligned to the Enterprise Core Ontology.
• Develop graph queries for metadata retrieval, validation, and updates.
• Collaborate with data, graph, and AI teams to enable search, discovery, and agentic reasoning.
• Mentor junior engineers and document design decisions and runbooks.
