Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. in Tampa, FL (MacDill AFB) is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain secure data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets.

You will work with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to process structured and unstructured data using Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems, or similar platforms. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and an active US government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 3+ years in data engineering, software development, or related work.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; familiar with Spark/Databricks.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Knowledge of version control, testing, and Agile development.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active US government security clearance.
