Job summary

Thomson Reuters in McLean, VA seeks a Data Engineer to support data-enabled solutions for TRSS. You will design, build and optimize data pipelines, integrate structured and unstructured data, and collaborate with internal teams and client staff.

Required: several years of data engineering experience, BS in CS/Engineering or related field, proficiency in Python and SQL, and ability to work in Linux/Windows environments. US security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Several years of data engineering experience
• Experience leading implementation and customization of technical solutions (government clients preferred)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with RESTful web services and data communications technologies
• Experience querying relational and document-oriented databases
• Comfortable in Linux and Windows GUI/CLI
• Familiarity with AWS
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
