Agile Defense, a Falls Church, VA–based defense contractor, seeks a Data Engineer to develop and maintain secure data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to process structured and unstructured data using Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems, or similar platforms.

This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in data engineering, software development, analytics, or enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of data validation, modeling, and quality practices; Spark/PySpark or Databricks.
• Experience supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Understanding of version control, testing, documentation, and Agile development.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders; active US government security clearance.
