Job summary

Square Peg Technologies in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced data engineer to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for customers. You will build automated pipelines across diverse data types and datasets to enable analytics and machine learning.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years Python/SQL, experience with AWS RedShift/RDS, and a BS in CS/IT/Engineering. Strong collaboration with data science and BI teams, agile practices, and ability to explain complex concepts to business leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem RedShift and RDS.
• Experience building or maintaining ETL processes.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical leaders.
