Job summary

Reliance Health is seeking a Data Engineer to build a strong data platform powering core use cases. You will design scalable ingestion pipelines, refine ETL/ELT processes, and implement CI/CD-friendly orchestration while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes Python and SQL proficiency, version control with Git, and infrastructure tooling with Terraform in a remote-first work environment. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of data engineering experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience post NYSC in data engineering roles.
• Great SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and joining large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with version control tools (Git).
• Experience with terraform for managing infrastructure and access management control.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Ingestion: Build robust pipelines to ingest data from a variety of sources.
• ETL Development & Maintenance: Improve and maintain ETL/ELT processes and define usable tables.
• Orchestration: Build orchestration, version control and lineage systems for robust CICD.
• Collaboration & Communication: Translate non-technical requirements into hard actions and work with engineers.
