Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/software engineering or related roles.
• Experience building production data pipelines with Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark.
• Experience with Azure Databricks or similar lakehouse platforms.
• Understanding of lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, and data integration.
• Proficient with Git-based development, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
• Develop governed data products with Delta Lake, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on data contracts and consumption needs.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, metadata, and lineage for production data products.
• Apply CI/CD, source control, and automated testing to data engineering workloads.
• Create reusable components and align with platform golden paths and standards.
