Job summary

Rhombus Power, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines and infrastructure for mission-driven projects. You will analyze data, build scalable data platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights for national security applications.

You will travel to client sites and work in a fast-paced environment, applying your knowledge of ETL, architecture, and data governance to ensure high-quality data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and 1+ year of professional experience (or strong academic project experience).
• Strong coding skills in Python and data tooling (Pandas, NumPy) and experience with data pipelines.
• Experience with AWS and data modeling, APIs, and ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop code to automate data ingestion and improve data management.
• Architect data repositories and pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and aggregation.
• Review data architecture and improve data governance, quality, and metadata management.
• Extract and analyze data from multiple sources via APIs, SQL, or Python scripts.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers in an agile environment.
• Communicate project status and results to leadership.
