Rhombus Power Inc. in Washington, D.C. seeks a Data Scientist to design, develop, and launch data pipelines, models, and analytics for complex datasets. You will collaborate with the Product team to Power insights and ensure data reliability.

The ideal candidate has a strong academic background with a Master’s degree and fluency in Python, Pandas, and PyArrow, plus experience with cloud platforms and databases. A passion for turning data into actionable intelligence is required.

Qualifications

• This role requires a strong academic background with a Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and data handling libraries such as Pandas and PyArrow is essential.
• Experience with database management (MySQL, Oracle) and large-scale data processing pipelines is preferred.
• Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, GCloud, Azure) is a plus and US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Discover datasets that could help in solution development
• Data curation, data evaluation, and data analysis
• Design, create, and implement quantitative models
• Validation and quality assurance of data, models and results
• Deploy and implement solutions in collaboration with product team
• Interact with the product team on current and upcoming user requirements
• Responsiveness to customer feedback delivered by product team and timelines
• Systems-level approach to integration within larger projects
