Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Engineer to shape data products across its family of applications. You will design and build scalable data solutions, guiding teams on data artifacts, logging, privacy, security, and data management standards.

You will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to address key questions, influence product development, and tell data-driven stories with credible insights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute data warehouse plans for a product or group of products.
• Identify data needs for business problems and implement logging to ensure data availability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to present key data insights.
• Build data controls to ensure privacy, security, data quality, and operations.
• Design, build and launch new data models and visualizations in production.
• Independently design, build and launch ETL processes in production and mentor others.
• Support existing production processes and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance.
• Define and manage SLAs for data sets in allocated areas of ownership.
