Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Engineer for Product Analytics to design and build scalable data solutions across its apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Reality Labs, Threads). You will partner with software engineers, data scientists and product managers to craft data artifacts, improve growth, and optimize user experiences at massive scale.

You will ensure data privacy, security and quality while mentoring on efficient queries and new data models in production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, C#, Scala).

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute data warehouse plans for a product or group of products to solve well-scoped problems.
• Identify data needed for business problems and implement logging to ensure data availability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs and present insights.
• Build data expertise and enforce data privacy, security and quality across ownership areas.
• Design, build and launch new data models and visualizations in production.
