Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Engineer for the PAR team to design and build large-scale data sets and visualizations that influence billions of interactions. You will collaborate across software engineering, data science, and product management to craft data pipelines and models that power growth and user experience at massive scale.

You will own data architecture decisions, shape logging frameworks, and ensure data quality and security while guiding teams on efficient data strategies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with data.
• Experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language.
• Strong data engineering fundamentals and scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and own the data architecture for multiple large-scale projects, evaluating design and tradeoffs.
• Create and contribute to data frameworks and logging solutions for scalable data artifacts.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to translate data needs into visuals.
• Define SLAs for data sets and govern data quality, security, and privacy.
