Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer for the People Analytics team to design and manage data pipelines and warehouse models. You’ll work across HR systems, including Workday, to ensure accurate and accessible data for workforce analytics.

You will lead data engineering efforts, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement secure, compliant data solutions using cloud platforms and BI tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science or related field required.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience and ETL/ELT proficiency.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes for HR data sources.
• Develop and optimize data workflows ensuring data quality and availability.
• Oversee a team of data engineers with mentorship and guidance on best practices.
• Collaborate with HR and analytics teams to structure data for analysis and reporting in R/Python.
• Ensure data governance and security in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
