Job summary

TikTok is offering a Campus Intern position on the Data Platform E-Commerce team. You will design and build data transformations for reporting and growth analysis, contributing to one of the world's largest data platforms.

You will work on integrating search engine technologies with LLMs, tackling problems at the intersection of information retrieval, ML, NLP, recommendations, and distributed systems, for a meaningful summer experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, Flink).
• Experience with data analysis, data ingestion and data integration.

• Design and build data transformations efficiently for reporting and analysis.
• Design and implement reliable, scalable big data systems that support core products.
• Establish solid design and engineering practices for engineers and non-technical teammates.
