Job summary

TikTok's Monetization Data team builds the data foundation powering our global advertising and monetization products. You will work with Product Managers, Data Scientists/Analysts, and Engineers to design data solutions and scalable pipelines that meet business needs.

This internship offers hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply your knowledge to real challenges while building a foundation for growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or master's degree in CS/Engineering or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and data modeling principles.

Responsibilities

• Work with PMs, data scientists/analysts, and software/ML engineers to deliver data solutions.
• Evaluate, implement and maintain data infrastructure tools for efficient processing and storage.
• Design, build and optimize scalable data pipelines for large data volumes.
• Design and implement robust data models and visualizations for complex analytics.
• Ensure data integrity with quality checks, validation, and monitoring.
• Continuously optimize pipelines, queries and processes to improve performance.
• Provide rapid on-call support for critical data pipelines and document data assets.
