Job summary

Texas Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a data professional to join our data engineering team in Austin. You will explore new data sets and support our data model as we advance our data maturation journey in AWS/Snowflake, reporting to the Sr.

Manager of Data Engineering. You will identify, prepare, and validate structured and unstructured data, evaluate new data sets for modeling and reporting, and maintain the data environment while leveraging tools like Coalesce.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
  • At least 2 years of related data experience or equivalent education, training, or experience.
  • Quantitative degree preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science).
  • Data Warehousing / Data Modeling experience.
  • Experience with data preparation tools.
  • Insurance industry knowledge.
  • Strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities

Pay Transparency

The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.

Base Pay Range: $112,734.65 - $139,260.45 Per Year
