Job summary

Texas Mutual Insurance Company is seeking an Agency Operations Specialist to streamline agency management activities, including data integrity, licensing workflows, onboarding and segmentation. You will work with the Agency Operations Consultant and partners to maintain accurate agency and producer records and ensure smooth operations across programs.

The role supports reporting, training resources, and field guidance, helping reduce risk and improve process efficiency in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Admin, Insurance, Finance, or related field.
• At least two years of related experience or equivalent education, training, or experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate agency and producer records across relationships, licensing, compliance and terminations.
• Run routine and ad hoc reports; validate data and coordinate corrections with IT and administration.
• Support bonus, commission, dividend, and safety group workflows with data prep and documentation.
• Coordinate licensing applications, renewals, inquiries, files and compliance reporting.
• Complete onboarding for newly appointed agencies and communicate timelines and issues.
• Provide process guidance, training resources and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate agency-facing events, materials and vendor communications.
• Document and improve workflows and operational tools; assist with training and projects.

By coordinating details, maintaining accurate information, and keeping critical processes moving forward, the Agency Operations Specialist helps create a seamless experience for internal and agency partners.Working with the Agency Operations Consultant and partners, you will help strengthen operational consistency, build team capacity, maintain continuity, and reduce risk. It’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes by connecting people and processes to help Texas Mutual’s agency operations succeed.Responsibilities & QualificationsIn this role you will:Maintain accurate agency and producer records across relationship structures, contracts, licensing, compliance, terminations, bankruptcies, exceptions, bonus rules, scoring, and tiering.Run routine and ad hoc reports; validate data, coordinate corrections with IT and department administration, and escalate discrepancies or anomalies to the Agency Operations Consultant.Support bonus, commission, dividend, and safety group workflows through data preparation, tracking, documentation, reporting, approvals, and processing.Maintain compensation plans and records, assist with recommendations, and coordinate with Finance and other internal partners.Coordinate licensing applications, renewals, inquiries, files, and compliance reporting following company policy and state requirements.Complete onboarding for newly appointed agencies, including documentation, system setup, status communications, timeline tracking, and issue escalation.Support agency scoring and tiering cycles by maintaining inputs, monitoring timelines, preparing outcomes and related forms, and communicating changes.Be a resource to Territory Managers and field staff by providing process guidance, meeting materials, procedural updates, training resources, and issue escalation.Coordinate agency-facing events, tradeshows, calendars, logistics, marketing materials, and work with external vendors and the Creative/Marketing team.Document and improve workflows, procedures, and operational tools; support training, special projects, and backup coverage across agency operations.Administer safety group programs by tracking participants, managing data, preparing reports, and communicating program requirements and updates.Administer dividend programs by preparing workflows, maintaining calculation and approval records, and coordinating with Finance and other internal partners for accurate distributions.Required qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field or equivalent education, training, or experience.At least two years of related experience or equivalent education, training, or experience.Preferred qualifications:Experience in a property & casualty insurance environment.Familiarity with insurance agency operations, compensation structures, or licensing processes.Texas Mutual Pay TransparencyThe base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role.
