PlayStation's Infrastructure Business Operations team is looking for a Data Engineer to build the data foundation for understanding the cost, utilization, and economics of PlayStation’s global infrastructure.

You will own the end‑to‑end implementation, identifying the questions that matter, connecting disparate data sources, and turning data into trusted insights that drive decisions across engineering, product, Finance, and leadership.

Competenze

3+ years building production data pipelines and analytical systems.
Strong SQL and Python experience.
Experience with large, complex datasets across multiple systems.

Mansioni

Build scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and combine data from multiple sources.
Develop cost and allocation models that connect infrastructure consumption to workloads, services, features, and products.
Partner with engineering teams to identify telemetry and instrumentation needs.
Analyze infrastructure cost, utilization, capacity, and unit economics to drive decisions.
Create trusted metrics, datasets, dashboards, and analytical tools for stakeholders.
Establish data quality, testing, observability, documentation, and reproducibility.
Explore new data sources and technologies to improve understanding of infrastructure.
