Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer II to scale our data infrastructure, automation, and tooling to meet growing business needs. You will design large-scale data models and pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse, while ensuring data quality and reliability across ETL processes.

You will collaborate with business partners, engineering, product teams, and third parties to collect data, and you’ll onboard and support other engineers joining the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, BI, or similar.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools in the full software lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Python/Java and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement large-scale data models and pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
• Develop data quality checks, QA, and monitoring routines.
• Improve reliability and scalability of ETL processes.
• Manage a portfolio of data products delivering high-quality, trustworthy data.
• Onboard and support other engineers joining the team.
