Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and scale the data foundations enabling fast, reliable insights. You’ll partner with Data Engineers, Scientists, and Product teams to deliver trusted metrics and analytics across the company.

You’ll own canonical datasets, develop ETL/ELT pipelines, and design dashboards using Looker/Tableau/Sigma. Strong SQL and Python/Scala skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–6+ years in BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
• Strong SQL and at least one of Python/Scala.
• Experience creating dashboards with Looker/Tableau/Sigma.
• Familiarity with data lake techs (S3, Trino, Hive, Spark).
• Experience with data quality checks (Pydeequ, Great Expectations).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate needs into data requirements.
• Develop data products and self‑serve analytics tools at scale.
• Build canonical datasets and high‑volume ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design metrics and dashboards to enable informed decision‑making.
• Uphold data integrity and promote standardization across teams.
