Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build scalable data foundations and deliver trusted metrics for decision-making across product, operations, and finance. You will partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, software engineers, and product managers to drive end-to-end analytics initiatives.

The role emphasizes building canonical datasets, ETL/ELT pipelines, and self-serve tools, while maintaining high data integrity and enabling dashboards for multiple business lines.

Qualifications

• 2–6+ years in BI/analytics/engineering roles.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Scala).
• Experience building dashboards with Looker/Tableau/Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and translate to data requirements.
• Develop data products and self-serve analytics tools at scale.
• Build canonical datasets with high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design metrics and dashboards for cross-functional teams.
• Uphold data integrity and standardization across domains.
