Sezzle is seeking a Data Engineer II to own data pipelines and reporting that support credit bureau furnishing. You’ll work in a fast-paced fintech setting, debug SQL/Python workflows, and partner with Compliance and Engineering to ensure accurate customer data delivery.

You’ll lead data transformations, implement automated tests, and help translate reporting requirements into reliable production processes. A strong data foundation and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field.
• 3+ years of data/software engineering with production data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills with data profiling and troubleshooting.
• Strong Python skills and ability to read unfamiliar code.

Responsabilités

• Own recurring credit bureau furnishing operations and data processing.
• Build, maintain, and debug SQL transformations and Python scripts.
• Trace discrepancies from source to outputs and fix root causes.
• Investigate escalations and translate rules into reporting logic.
• Develop automated tests, monitoring, and alerts for data quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Service.
