Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language (Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS).
• Experience architecting or operating solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable data infrastructure on AWS delivering access to transportation and customs datasets.
• Architect and implement end-to-end ETL pipelines ingesting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources.
• Drive database performance optimization for analytical workloads.
• Enable data-driven decisions through self-service analytics, visualization, and ML solutions.
• Establish and maintain data quality frameworks, catalogs, and governance processes.
