Job summary

You will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, implement data governance, and apply AI/ML techniques to data products, while maintaining security and reliability across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 2+ years of data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable ETL pipelines using Python, Spark, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis)
• Develop data architecture, schemas, and internal tools/APIs for analytics and reporting
• Work with relational and non-relational databases ensuring data quality and scalability
• Manage AWS resources and implement security controls, data governance, and compliance standards
• Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Automate processes to increase efficiency and enable self-service capabilities
• Partner with Software Developers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide technical leadership
• Apply AI/ML technologies (generative AI, LLMs) to data engineering use cases
• Skilled at designing and building internal tools, APIs, or software applications that serve data products or automate business processes
