Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Data Engineer to build and operate scalable data solutions across the enterprise in Hartford, CT. You will design pipelines, validate data quality, and collaborate with analytics teams to deliver trusted data for AI, ML and BI initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring strong SQL and Snowflake experience, plus hands-on ETL tooling (AWS, dbt) and data modeling expertise.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions, correct problems, apply transformations, and recommend data cleansing/quality solutions.
• Design data solutions.
• Analyze sources to determine value and recommend data to include in analytical processes.
• Incorporate core data management competencies including data governance, data security and data quality.
• Collaborate within and across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products/analytic environment.
