Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering team and help build scalable data pipelines across the enterprise. You will translate data stories into robust data solutions that support AI, machine learning and BI initiatives.

The role requires strong SQL, Databricks PySpark, and dbt experience, plus familiarity with AWS and data governance. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Six years of related experience.
• Experience with data transformation using dbt and/or Databricks PySpark.
• Experience building data pipelines using AWS cloud services and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions, fix problems and improve data quality.
• Design data solutions for enterprise analytics.
• Analyze data sources to determine value for analytics.
• Incorporate data governance, security and quality practices.
• Collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users.
