Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Data Engineer, Hardware Reliability for Starlink in Bastrop, TX. You will build data pipelines, software systems, and analytics tools to improve reliability of Starlink customer hardware including dishes, routers, and power supplies.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering, production, test, inventory, quality, and supply chain teams. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data or software engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required.
• 4+ years of professional data or software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Bash scripting, or Git.
• Familiar with at least one additional programming language (e.g. Java, Scala, C++, C#).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data engineering infrastructure, tools, processes, and custom software to increase Starlink reliability of customer hardware.
• Contribute to Starlink software repositories, delivering high-impact technical outcomes for the business.
• Create custom data pipelines, infrastructure, and analytics tools for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across disciplines to drive positive business outcomes under tight deadlines.
• Work with changing requirements in a dynamic environment and identify customer needs.
• Take on autonomous projects and develop new expertise as needed.
• Support on-site execution in Bastrop, TX with willingness to travel up to 10%.
