In this onsite position in Seattle, WA, you will manage data infrastructure planning, deliver reliable data models and pipelines, and uphold privacy, security, compliance, and data quality.

What you’ll do

• Manage and execute data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products to address well-scoped problems
• Identify the data required for business problems, implement logging to support data availability, and work with data infrastructure teams to triage and resolve issues
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs and communicate key data insights clearly
• Build data expertise and apply data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operational readiness for areas you own
• Design, build, and launch new data models and visualizations in production using common development toolkits
• Independently design, build, and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes in production, including mentoring others on efficient queries
• Support existing production processes and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance
• Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for data sets within your areas of ownership

Minimum qualifications

• 2+ years of experience where the primary responsibility involves working with data (for example: data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (such as Python, C++, C#, Scala, or others)

Preferred qualifications
