Job summary

Leidos is standing up a new Agile development team in Washington, DC, to modernize federal IT and deliver critical digital transformation. The role focuses on data analytics, dashboards, and self-service assets in a secure, collaborative environment.

You will work with Elastic Stack, Kibana, and cloud-based data platforms, engaging stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences to drive insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ongoing suitability screenings.
• Security+ or higher certification.
• Experience designing dashboards with Kibana.
• Shorthand in Python, SQL, or R for data Cleaning, transform, analysis.
• Strong data modeling, ETL, and data pipeline skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and insights.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; capable of stakeholder presentations.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources for accuracy.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends and insights addressing business questions.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports using Kibana as the primary tool.
• Apply UI/visual design basics to ensure accessible and clear visualizations.
• Translate analytics results into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders on integrated data solutions.
• Maintain data transformation pipelines and ensure data quality and alignment with logic.
• Develop self-service analytics tools and reusable data assets for end users.
• Document data models, logic, transformations, and analytics workflows.
