Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Data Engineer to design, modify, and validate data solutions at our Easton Oval office in Columbus, OH (or in Dallas, TX, Minnetonka, MN). The role focuses on data integrity, lineage, controls, and error handling within an agile team.

The candidate will analyze data sources, implement data integrations, and provide 3rd level support while collaborating with Solutions Architecture to deliver robust data platforms across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT data engineering and analysis experience.
• 1+ years of data solutions leveraging SQL, Java, Springboot and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Support data analysis, deployments, enhancements, and integrations between systems.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architecture to develop and implement solutions.
• Analyze data sources, controls, security, scalability and performance with clients and team members.
• Develop or modify software application design and modules.
• Test new or customized data integrations to ensure specifications are met.
• Document functions and changes to data integrations and ingestion patterns, test activities/results, error handling, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Provide 3rd level support and assist lower tier support for ongoing maintenance and production issues.
• Complete work in an agile development environment and follow appropriate programming/engineering methodologies.
