Job summary

Circle Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Data Engineer to design and maintain data systems powering our freight brokerage operations.

You will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, and Track & Trace to build practical data solutions and gain hands-on experience in data engineering. Under guidance, you will write SQL and Python, develop ETL pipelines, and ensure data quality across multiple sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong Python and SQL skills with ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, data integration concepts, and ETL tooling.
• Git or other version control experience and collaborative practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines and ETL workflows to load freight and logistics data.
• Build data integration solutions connecting TransportPro TMS with other tools.
• Write SQL and Python to extract, analyze, and prepare data for reporting.
• Create data quality checks and monitoring for data reliability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Carrier Sales, and Track & Trace to translate needs into tech solutions.
• Support foundational analytics and reporting to enable data-driven decisions.
• Document data pipelines and processes for maintainability.
• Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data reliability.
• Learn version control and collaborative development best practices.
