Job summary

DoorDash is looking for a Software Engineer to be a technical powerhouse to scale our data infrastructure, automation and tools to meet growing business needs. You will work with partners to collect, model and deliver high-quality data for analytics and decision making.

You will design large-scale data pipelines, implement data quality checks and collaborate with teams across engineering, product and analytics. Strong SQL and Python/Java are required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering, BI, or similar role.
• Experience with ETL orchestration and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Strong SQL and distributed computing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Understand data requirements with business partners.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and 3rd parties to collect data.
• Design, develop and implement large-scale data models and pipelines.
• Develop data quality checks and monitoring routines.
• Improve reliability and scalability of ETL processes.
• Manage data product portfolio delivering high-quality data.
• Onboard and support other engineers.
