Job summary

Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader seeking a Technical Leader to guide architecture and data platform projects. You will manage a hands-on team, champion CI/CD, and drive scalable data solutions.

This role reports to the Director of Digital Data & Infrastructure and offers a hybrid work arrangement from Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI. You will mentor engineers, shape technology strategy, and partner with Product Owners to align roadmaps.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Legal authorization to work in the US; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job opening.
Occasional international travel required.

Responsibilities

Lead the team responsible for the design and technological architecture of the product.
Guide project teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, CI and automated deployment.
Manage the technical design of the product and make architecture decisions at a team and product level.
Coach the technical team and remove roadblocks to help deliver solutions.
Identify and remove technical impediments.
Align the roadmap with the technical stack with Product Owner(s).
Advise with Product Owner(s) on stories and acceptance criteria; communicate tradeoffs with Designers.
Seek better ways to solve technical problems and improve the solution.
Provide a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality.
Share responsibility for building reusable and scalable components.
