Job summary

Ford Motor Company, in collaboration with BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, seeks a data engineering professional to build data pipelines and lead an agile team driving the future of manufacturing.

You will implement FPS and governance, develop workflows, and connect enterprise systems using APIs. A bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of data engineering are required, plus 2+ years of data visualization and automation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years data engineering experience.
• 2+ years data visualization (reports, dashboards).
• 2+ years using Python, SQL, C++, Java, or similar platform for automation and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence and compliance to FPS/KUP.
• Understand and apply standard manufacturing operating systems.
• Enforce Safety Operating System practices for zero injuries.
• Ensure Quality Operating System practices for zero defects.
• Data Pipeline Development.
• Develop Workflows to automate data tasks.
• Connect enterprise apps, SaaS platforms, and manufacturing systems using APIs and event-driven workflows.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, and modeling for governance.
