Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data analytics Engineer to support analytics, reporting, and data engineering across enterprise data lakes, warehouses, and BI platforms. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and use Databricks, ODI, SQL, and Python to transform large datasets.

You will develop BI semantic layers and dashboards with Power BI, OAS, and Tableau, monitor pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Three or more years of professional experience supporting data analytics, reporting, data engineering, or BI initiatives.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Strong expertise with Databricks, ODI, SQL, Python, data integration/transformation, data quality validation, and metadata documentation.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, OAS, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of production support processes, including pipeline monitoring and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics, reporting, and data engineering across enterprise data lakes, warehouses, and BI platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Utilize Databricks, ODI, SQL, and Python to integrate, transform, and validate large datasets.
• Perform data quality assessments and support data governance through metadata documentation and lineage tracking.
• Develop and support BI semantic layers for accurate, scalable reporting.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, OAS, Tableau, and similar tools.
• Monitor production data pipelines, troubleshoot performance issues, and support operations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
