Job summary

Danta Technologies is seeking a Technical Lead for Data Engineering based in San Antonio, TX, with hands-on expertise in Snowflake-based data warehousing and ELT development using dbt. You will lead the design and delivery of scalable pipelines, implement CI/CD for dbt, and enforce data quality through automated tests and observability frameworks.

You will mentor the data engineering team and collaborate with onsite and offshore members to ensure timely delivery in a distributed model.

This position is based in San Antonio, TX & Plano, TX and requires 5 days per week in the office.

Job Description

• Technical lead for Data Engineering with hands-on expertise in Snowflake-based cloud data warehousing and modern ELT development using dbt (Core or Cloud), with deep proficiency in advanced SQL, incremental and snapshot strategies, performance tuning, and cost optimization in Snowflake.
• The candidate must have experience designing scalable, production-grade ELT pipelines, implementing CI/CD for dbt, integrating orchestration tools, and enforcing data quality through automated testing and observability frameworks.
• A strong understanding of cloud platforms and security in Snowflake, version control (Git), and DevOps-driven deployment practices is required, along with demonstrated experience leading technical design reviews, mentoring data engineering teams, and working in an onsite-offshore model, mentoring the offshore members to drive delivery.
