Innova Solutions is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer at an intermediate level to join a Plano, TX contract-to-hire engagement. The candidate will own end-to-end data pipelines, leverage AWS data lake services, and collaborate on CI/CD deployments.

Strong Python, AWS, and data engineering skills are essential. Responsibilities include hands-on work with Lake Formation, Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions, and familiarity with Snowflake/Databricks is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cloud data engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on with AWS data services.
• Experience building data pipelines with minimal guidance.
• Proficient in Python
• Familiar with CI/CD tooling and automation.
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Hands-on work with AWS data lake technologies (Lake Formation, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda).
• Develop data pipelines and data movement solutions (Python API, Spark, Boto3).
• Perform data analytics using AWS Athena, S3 Select, EMR, Redshift.
• Manage compute/storage on AWS (S3, EC2).
• Collaborate on CI/CD deployments to AWS using Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, ServiceNow.
• Assist with testing, releasing, and monitoring pipelines.

We're Looking for Cloud Data Engineer - Intermediate - Plano, TX

Position type: Contract to Hire

Duration: 6+ Months

Must have:

• AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Step function, Lake Formation, Snowflake, Python, and Terraform, CI/CD.


• Conversant with AI Suite (Copilot/Claude/Agentic workflows)


• Need to be very strong in building out pipelines without much guidance


• Must be very strong within AWS services specific to Data


• Must be good with CICD


• Must be good with hands on Python


• Data Lake: AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, AWS Step Function, AWS Lambda
  Data Movement: AWS CLI, Python API, Spark, Python Boto3
  Data Analytics: AWS Athena, S3 Select, EMR, Redshift
  Compute/Storage: AWS S3, AWS EC2


• Snowflake and Databricks are a big plus, but not a must have


• min. 6 years of experience of cloud data engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with one or more AWS data lake technologies:


• Data Lake: AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, AWS Step Function, AWS Lambda


• Data Movement: AWS CLI, Python API, Spark, Python Boto3


• Data Analytics: AWS Athena, S3 Select, EMR, Redshift


• Compute/Storage: AWS S3, AWS EC2


• Knowledge of at least one scheduling tool, Control-M Preferred


• Working experience in one or more of the following languages: Python(Preferred),Java/Scala(Good to Have)


• Knowledge and experience with testing, releasing, and CI/CD pipeline deployments into AWS using:


• Tools: Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins, Service Now


• Log Trace: AWS CloudWatch, Splunk. Knowledge on Snowflake - Horizon Catalog and Databricks - Unity Catalog is a huge plus

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range
