Job summary

MAPFRE is seeking a Solutions Delivery Manager – Data Enablement Lead to drive governance, stewardship, and data enablement across domains. You’ll serve as a hands-on Data Steward and partner with business and technology teams to ensure trusted, well-documented data and practical, repeatable data practices.

You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, coach domains on metadata, glossaries, and data quality, and help embed governance into data products and analytics throughout delivery lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• 6+ years in Data Governance, Data Management or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of data governance operating models, stewardship, metadata, glossaries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Data Steward for assigned domains and ensure data is trusted and well-documented.
• Partner with stakeholders to maintain data definitions, ownership, quality standards, and governance practices.
• Facilitate governance discussions and resolve cross-functional data issues.
• Promote accountability and adoption of data governance across the organization.
• Drive adoption of enterprise data governance tools (Collibra or Atlan).
• Establish metadata standards, glossaries, and governance workflows.
• Improve data discoverability by linking definitions, ownership, lineage, and assets.
• Coach teams on metadata and stewardship best practices.
• Lead workshops to define business terms, data standards, and quality expectations.
• Develop reporting and scorecards to measure progress and accountability.
