Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Eugene, Oregon seeks a Traffic Control Manager to lead reservation management and the distribution of trucks, trailers, towing and U-Box portable storage, balancing demand and inventory.

You will hire and mentor a team of reservation managers, analyze data, coordinate equipment placement, and work with rate analysts to maximize revenue while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with an analytical mind.
• Strong communication, listening, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Coaching and conflict-resolution abilities to manage teams effectively.
• Proficiency in office etiquette to support regional standards.
• Experience in management and team-building (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Help provide certainty to customers, field team members and U-Haul dealerships through reservation management and the distribution of trucks, trailers, towing and U-Box portable storage.
• Coordinate reservations and equipment placement based on customer demand and equipment productivity.
• Analyze data and formulate strategies to balance equipment within the market.
• Collaborate with rate analysts and other traffic managers to balance inventory and maximize gross revenue.
• Hire, mentor and lead a team of reservation managers to support distribution strategy and deliver outstanding customer service.
