Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a data-driven Operations Support role in Anchorage to run WMS reports and assist in workflow management. You will work with multiple departments to ensure accurate reporting and smooth operations on the shop floor and in distribution processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, basic knowledge of WMS systems, and the ability to analyze data to propose improvements. This position is on-site and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of basic Microsoft Excel
• 1+ years of basic knowledge of EXE/PKMS/WMS, Galaxy AS/400, Sunbeam, BRIO, Cubiscan equipment
• Certification in Material Handling equipment or willingness to learn
• Strong math, analytical and data interpretation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and teams

Responsibilities

• Run reports in WMS, Sunbeam or similar systems.
• Assist department leader in managing workflow and priorities.
• Provide information to supervisors to meet reporting requirements.
• Communicate updates to departmental teams.
• Analyze data and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain and update systems after upgrades or changes.
• Ensure compliance with systems and SOPs; audit activities.
• Coordinate major system changes with teams.
• Collaborate with clerical, supervisory and central administration teams.
• Assist customer service to resolve high-touch requests and complaints.
