Job summary

The role provides direct services such as counseling and planning, along with indirect support through referrals and collaboration with families and staff to promote educational equity and success for every student.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling from an accredited institution.
• Florida teaching certificate in guidance and counseling PK-12.
• Experience managing staff or department functions preferred.
• Industry certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a data-driven school counseling program addressing barriers to learning.
• Provide direct services including counseling and student planning.
• Provide indirect services via referrals and collaboration with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Deliver programs aligning with ASCA mindsets and behavior standards.
• Lead systemic change to improve academic and socio-emotional outcomes.
• Foster partnerships with parents and community to support student development.
