Job summary

Hydraulic Technologies is seeking a Planner to coordinate demand with production capacity, material availability, and execution. You will help ensure the right work is scheduled at the right time, resources are utilized effectively, and customer commitments are met.

The role emphasizes data-driven planning, ERP/MRP proficiency, and collaboration across Operations, Purchasing, and Quality to drive improvements in schedule reliability and inventory performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of MRP, production scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, and replenishment strategies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven planning environments.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production schedules that align demand, material availability, labor capacity, and priorities.
• Level-load production lines to improve workflow and reduce schedule disruptions.
• Create and maintain production orders, planned orders, and planning signals within SAP and other systems.
• Monitor schedule performance and adjust plans as needed due to priorities or capacity changes.
• Coordinate daily scheduling with Operations to support on-time delivery and resource use.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Engineering, and Quality to align plans with business priorities.
