Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, headquartered in Cary, NC, is seeking a Pricing Analyst who will partner with leadership to advance data-driven pricing across the business division. This role develops analytical reporting, analyzes pricing trends, and translates insights into actionable recommendations.

You will collaborate with General Managers, Sales, Product Management, Customer Analytics, and Finance to optimize profitability, monitor performance, and support governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of pricing analysis or related financial/data analysis experience.
• Strong ability to interpret data and translate into recommendations.
• Excel proficiency; SQL/Power BI experience preferred.
• Experience with pricing software (Pricefx) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing timelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with GMs, Sales, Product, Analytics, and Finance to align pricing with objectives.
• Evaluate price deviation proposals considering margins, customers, and competition.
• Develop pricing models incorporating costs, demand, and behaviors.
• Analyze historical pricing and margins to spot opportunities.
• Monitor pricing performance and recommend data-driven adjustments.
• Deliver regular reports and presentations on trends and actions.
• Help develop pricing guidelines and governance for consistency.
• Coordinate pricing changes with cross-functional teams.
• Support pricing tech adoption through requirements and testing.
• Stay current on pricing trends and new technologies.
