Job summary

Fair Lawn Public School District seeks a Vice Principal for Memorial Middle School. This 11-month leadership role requires strong educational leadership, curriculum and assessment expertise, and a track record of implementing professional development for staff.

The ideal candidate will use data to guide school improvement, supervise and evaluate professional staff, and foster daily positive interactions with students and faculty.

Qualifications

Five years minimum experience in education.
Experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity, preferred
Demonstrated success in enhancing curriculum, instruction, and assessment
Experience in the creation and implementation of professional development forstaff
Familiarity with implementation of I&RS, 504 and other interventions
Knowledge of and experience with research-based instructional strategies
Ability to use data to assist in making decisions and developing action plans for school improvement
Experience in the supervision and evaluation of professional staff
Demonstrated ability to interact with students and staff on a daily basis
