Job summary

Regional School Unit 2 seeks an experienced Principal for Monmouth Memorial School (grades PK-8) to lead with a student-centered, mission-driven approach. The ideal candidate demonstrates instructional leadership, strong collaboration with staff and families, and a track record of improving academic outcomes.

The role requires a Master's degree, (or eligibility for) the 040 Principal certification, and at least five years of teaching plus five years of administrative experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Must hold (or be eligible to hold) the required certification - 040 Principal.
• Minimum of five years as a teacher and five years of administrative experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Extensive understanding of school leadership, supervision, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal supporting elementary and middle school students and staff.
• Foster a positive school climate and culture through a visible, energetic presence throughout the building.
• Manage school systems and day-to-day operations that contribute to an effective educational experience.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless educational experiences across grade levels.
