Job summary

TransPak is seeking a data-driven procurement analyst to support the procurement department with data analysis, communication, and supplier development initiatives.

You will collect and analyze site-wide data, define spending categories, support procurement decisions, and drive cost savings and efficiency projects.

You will assist in supplier/product setup, review old product data for accuracy, monitor safety stock, and provide occasional buyer support such as placing purchase orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4 years related experience in procurement/finance; college degree may be replaced
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and data management
• 4 years’ management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow efficiently
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Support procurement data analysis and supplier development
• Drive cost savings and efficiency projects (35%)
• Collect and analyze site-wide data to support procurement decisions
• Coordinate communication between suppliers, buyers, and design
• Create and update detailed process instructions for risk management and efficiency
• Assist purchasing with new product and supplier setup and maintenance
• Review old product data and correct setup issues
• Provide occasional buyer support including PO requests and negotiations
• Monitor and adjust safety stock levels based on usage and lead times
