Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Novi, MI to design transportation network optimization models and support multi-plant customer networks. The role improves utilization and service performance and provides supply chain support to global industry and regional teams.

The position is exempt/salary with a hybrid schedule (in-office Wednesdays) and an annual salary of $55,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Industrial Engineering or Business.
• 1+ year of industry related experience required.
• Travel: None.
• DOT regulated: No.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in the sales process: work with sales and operations to develop concepts, implementation of their designs, and assisting operations management with continuous improvement.
• Provide proposal support, data gathering and analysis and acquire product knowledge.
• Adhere to process methodologies.
• Involvement in the design and engineering of supply chain services that include Network Analysis, Transportation, Distribution Management, Strategy, multi-client and Process Management.
