Job summary

HD Supply Management is seeking an inventory/operations-focused professional to optimize product availability and balance across multiple locations. You will analyze field inventory levels, identify excesses, and drive repositioning or pull-back strategies to improve overall utilization.

The role requires a BS/BA in a related field and 2–5 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or operations. Expect advanced use of SAP, JDA, Tableau, and MS Office, plus knowledge of Oracle R12

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline and 2–5 years in inventory, supply chain or operations.
• Advanced use of SAP, JDA, Tableau, or Microsoft Office.
• Prior knowledge of Oracle R12 purchasing system and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data and reduce aged inventory.
• Monitor reports and analytics for aging inventory metrics and expirations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on disposition and data updates.
• Partner with departments on inventory retirement and supplier returns.
• Maintain supplier relations and align on future inventory needs.
• Analyze trends and report excess inventory to field teams.
• Create forecasts and assess risks of on-hand inventory.
• Advise field leadership on disposition of fully reserved inventory.
• Execute projects assigned by field leadership.
