Job summary

GOLFTEC Fairfax is seeking a Certified Personal Coach to join a nationally recognized golf instruction team. You will complete GTU training, leverage TECFIT and other proprietary software, and create customized lesson plans to help students of varying levels play better golf.

With a signing bonus and a total compensation range of $60,000–$75,000, this full-time, on-site role includes benefits and a supportive team culture focused on Be Good, Crush Challenges, and Relentless Drive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of golf instruction or club fitting experience preferred.
• Prior knowledge of golf swing mechanics highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel or crouch for extended periods and lift items up to 30 pounds.
• PGA/LPGA affiliation is a plus.
• Graduation from a PGM program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Graduate from GOLFTEC University and complete GTU training.
• Utilize technology to help students play better golf.
• Recommend teaching content for customized lesson plans.
• Provide GOLFTEC services including TECFIT Club Fitting and various lessons.
• Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside training bays.
• Use Optimotion and TECSWING software in instruction.
• Maintain training center environment, equipment, and technology.
• Perform daily opening and closing functions.
• Participate in continuing education and distance learning.
